​Q: How do I power the PI2AES 2.0
A: The PI2AES 2.0 is designed to be powered from either the 40-pin GPIO 5V or from an external 5V +/-10% supply.

​Q: Can I power the PI2AES and the PI from the external 5V supply?
A: Yes, but using an external supply may still require the Raspberry PI to have it's own supply. See the HW Reference Manual (link below) for more detail.

​Q: Do the PI2AES 2.0 outputs work simultaneously?
A: Yes, all digital audio outputs deliver the same audio data at the same time. This includes the I2S over HDMI.

Q: What version of the Raspberry Pi Is the PI2AES 2.0 compatible with?
A: The PI2AES 2.0 will work with the PI 3, 3B, 3B+, PI 4 and the PI 5.

Q: Are there different acrylic cases for the PI's?
A: We include one acrylic case kit, but two different right side and front plates for the PI3, PI4 and PI5. You just assemble which one is appropriate for you.
